ESTA申請。

ESTA（Electronic System for Travel Authorization、略称：ESTA）は米国の電子渡航認証システムで、ビザ免除プログラム（VWP）を利用して渡米する旅行者の適格性を審査・判断するシステム。有効期間は2年で、前回のものが期日到来となったので新たに取得するもの。

なんと今回で5回目。Green Cardを返却してから随分たつのだなあと改めて思う。

入力などに10分ちょっとかかった。費用は前回（2年前）の21ドルから $40.27になっていた。2倍である。

従来は、申請から2〜3日後に承認されたという連絡がくるのだが、今回はなんt1時間10分でApprovedとなった。
これで次回の里帰りのpaper workは終了。ただしトランプのイラン攻撃による中東情勢が超不安知恵で、ホルムス海峡の封鎖が行われたり、色々な空港が閉鎖されたりと、旅行には適さない状態。秋までに改善しなければ、今年の里帰りはおやすみとなる。

DST has begun in the US.

Celebrate the arrival of spring. Daylight saving time has begun, and spring is finally just around the corner. To celebrate, I created a special lovely yogurt.
I called it Yogurt Primavera. It's plain yogurt topped with fresh blueberries, fresh grapes, slices of bananas, and diced apples. The key is that they're all cut into roughly the same size. It looked delicious and was super delish!

午前、eHealth Clinicへ。




Asthma　の2ヶ月検診でいつものClinicへ。

吸入薬 Flutiform がわたしには合っているのでこの prescriptionを low dose で継続。2ヶ月分の prescriptionをいつもどおり発行。

このクリニックはアレルギーも扱っているところで、花粉症について話す。
飲み薬（Allegra (fexofenadine) ）60mg x 2 の服用で、くしゃみや鼻水、頭痛んぼ症状はでないのだが、目の痒みには効かないと伝えたら、目薬を処方してくれた。眼が痛くならないやつを頼んだ。「スースーしないやつ位ですね」と渡邉先生。エピナスチン塩酸塩(Epinastine hydrochloride)が処方された。

日本でいままでOTCで買ったEye Drops は全てメンソールが含まれていて、眼がひどく痛くなりわたひには使えないのだったが、この処方されたものは、全く眼が痛くなくて、そして花粉症の痒みも抑えられて最高だ。

あれから13年。

大京神社で桜の撮影。数日前は全くまだの開花だったが、今日は少し咲いていた。
13年前のこの日は満開だったのだから、毎年ずいぶん差があるものだ。






この日はRの好きな食べ物というメニューにしていて、過去にはインドカレーの日が多かったのだが、今回は、ホームメードのディッシュ。

ロマネスコ、ブロッコリ、カリフラワーを主役にしたパスタサラダ。
Rが喜ぶこと確実だ♪

For a friend's birthday celebration dinner, we went to a restaurant on the 45th floor of Kabukicho Tower.

Restaurant Bellustar / BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel

It was my first time there, and I wasn't expecting a particularly calm atmosphere given the Kabukicho location, but it was a pleasant surprise. The interior was chic and elegant, and being on the 45th floor, the view was, of course, outstanding. The French course meal was beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. Also, when I mentioned that I had some dislikes, such as raw food, they kindly substituted it for something else, which was very reassuring. The staff were also very friendly, and we had a fun and happy birthday celebration.

友人の誕生日を祝う食事で選びました。初めて行きましたが、歌舞伎町という土地柄落ち着いた雰囲気はあまり予想していませんでしたが、それは嬉しい誤算でした。 シックで上品なモダンなインテリア、45FなのでもちろんViewは抜群。料理はフレンチのコースでしたが、どれも見た目も美しいし、味もとても美味しかったです。また、コースの中で苦手なものがあることを伝えたら、対応してくれて安心。店のスタッフも非常に感じ良くて楽しく幸せな誕生会ができてよかったです。

Saw the movie "Project Hail Mary" at Shinjuku Piccadilly.

Read the novel few years ago and loved it a lot.
Now it was made into a movie.

太陽エネルギーが奪われるという現象によりこれから30年以内に起こると予想される地球滅亡の危機を救うため、宇宙へと送り出された科学者でり且つ高校のサイエンス教師の主人公が、11.9光年先の目的地へ向けて冬眠状態で移動し、記憶を失った状態で目覚めた。徐々に記憶が戻り、これからの手順などを考えていたところ、この宇宙で、同じ目的で同じ目的地に向かっているのは自分だけでないことを知る。そしてその惑星40エリダニAb出身の異星人星人と協力してミッションに挑む。

数年前にアンディー・ウィアーによる小説を読み（日本語版と英語版）面白さに感動、映画化が決まったと知った2年前くらいから楽しみにしていた作品。

小説の場合、読み手のイマジネーションによりヴィジュアルは形成されるが、映画の場合、別の人のイマジネーションによるヴィジュアルが展開するので、そういう意味では、少し異なるが、しかし、基本的なコンセプトはオリジナル（小越）を踏襲していて大きなアレンジは加えられおらず、「裏切られた」感はなかった。

異星人Rockyのビジュアルは、わたしの脳内では異なったものだったが、しかし、映画で登場したロッキーにすぐに慣れた。 サイエンスの説明もそれなりになされ納得。

本作品の撮影にはグリーンバックは用いられず、宇宙船内のセットをつくり、そこでRyan Goslingが演技をしたとのこと。 また、ロッキーはアニマトロニクスかパペットを用いたとのことで、全てCGとAIといった最近の風潮からは離れた作り。 優しく温かい映画に仕上がった一員かもしれない。

わたしには美味しくなかったが、同行者（弟子）はとても満足して気に入ったそうなので、選んだ甲斐があった。

今日の Black toe.

古い爪がfall してから約1週間経過。
新しい爪にはこれといった新たな損傷はなく経過は順調。

ただし Tole nailの成長速度は極めてゆっくり（1日に約0.05mm伸び、1ヶ月1.5mm程度伸びるとされている）なので、すっかり固くて良い爪に置きかわるのにはあと3〜4ヶ月を要しそう。

Went to a dermatologist and had a wart removed from my right lower eyelid.

When I explained to the doctor that a wart on my lower eyelid had suddenly grown larger, she said that it didn't grow suddenly but gradually protruded, and that after a certain point, it must have become a noticeable size and start bothering me.

Dermatologist Treatments were;
Cryotherapy: Freezing with liquid nitrogen.

There's no visible change today, but it will turn darker and scab over tomorrow, and then it falls off in 7 to 10 days, and that will be the end of it.
The cost is only 570 yen.
