高島屋 Times Square 13F の　Breizh Cafeでランチコース。サラダ、スープ（パンプキン・ポタージュ）、ガレット、コーヒーからなり、どれも美味しlくて2人とも満足。外はあいにくの雨なのでテラス席ではなくて室内席で。

食後、屋上に出て新宿御苑の桜を観る。

食後は場所をかえて12Fの「椿珈琲」でCoffeeとおしゃべり。たのしい午後だった。

読書：
『The Scarlet Papers（スパイたちの遺灰：マシュー リチャードソン 2023）』読了。

諜報史学者である地味な主人公がスパイ界のリジェンドからのコンタクトで素人が巻き込まれる系の話だと思っていたら、なんと最後に見事に騙されたことがわかった。
リアリスティックな話の運び方やストーリー表現で自分が追体験しているように楽しめた。
面白かった！
ただし、名前には少々苦戦。登場する人が多く、さらに、スパイ活動のために各自が複数の名前を使いわけるものだから、しょっちゅう登場者リストを見ながら読んだのであった。

驚くほど美しい夕焼け空！

きれいだな。
美しいものをみると一気に心が豊かになる。

最近は怪我や体調不良などで気分が沈んでいたが、綺麗なサンセットを撮影できたことで気分ハッピーに。もともとオプティ、伊スティックな性格だし。

本日の Black toe.

新しい爪は、約半分がしっかりした状態で、残りは硬さ不足の未熟爪。
足の指の爪は発育速度が遅く、1ヶ月に1mmから1.5mmしか伸びないとのことなので、この指の爪がすっかり硬い爪になるののいはあと3〜4ヶ月はかかりそう。

3週間半前の状態と比べてみる。

でも、古い爪が剥がれ落ちた3月15日撮影の画像と比べると、それから2mmくらいは伸びている感じなので、3ヶ月より長くかかることはないかな。

ここ半年くらいは、いろいろと壊れたけれど、すべては自己再生力により治ってきているのだから、それをもって嬉しいことと捉えよう。

映画『Mercy』鑑賞。

Amazon Primeのstreamingのメニューに「Mercy」（2025）があったので鑑賞したもの。

近未来、AI裁判が行われるようになっていた。妻殺しの被告（Pratt)は90分以内に自己の無罪を証明することができない場合は有罪となる。被告はチェアに固定されたままリモートで捜査を開始する・・・

Chris Prattは好きな俳優だが、Guardian of the Galaxy や Jurassic parkの時のactingが好み。この作品は、彼の役も映画自体のセッティング（近未来のAI裁判））も期待していなくて、やはり事前の予想通り面白くなかった。それでも長さが1時間44分と手頃だったから途中でbail outすることなく終わりまで観た。

気分が著しく悪いシーンはないので、金曜日の夜にのんびりと観るにはOKな映画。

まずはLD。リモコンに電池を入れて各種セッティング。冷房23℃で15分稼働、続いて自動15分稼働。問題なし。部屋は程よく涼しくなった

夜になってから、寝室のACのテスト・ランを実施。こちらも問題なく涼しくなった。

最高気温27.3Cという暑い日になったのでテストにピッタリ。

ビルディングの雑排水管洗浄の日。一年に一回実施される。


雑排水管清掃スタッフ2名来訪。駐車場に停めた超高圧線乗車から長いケーブルをひき、キッチンの排水溝、洗濯機下の排水口、Powder Room洗面台の排水口（こちらはプランジャーも：特に詰まっているということもないが、1年分の汚れが排水管トラップにたまるので除去）、浴室の排水口（こちらは部品を外しブラシとソープで洗う）、それにトイレ内の手洗い場所。以上を高圧洗浄。

きれいになって気持ち良い

Got iPhone 17e.

携帯電話の大型化が進んでいる最近ではめずらしい6.1”ディスプレー。カメラにパワーを持たせておらず、小型化にフォーカスしたモデルで、おかげで薄くて軽量。家でのみ使うために購入。小型軽量なので自宅で寝ながらのブラウジングに最適。
家用として愛用している iPhone 13 Proのバッテリーがだいぶ劣化してきたので replacementが購入目的。

早速セットアップ。
試運転。A19チップが入っているので、動きは快適。

具体的にはDuvetを春ものに交換した。ここ数日、暑くて夜中に目が覚めたことが何回もあったので750gから280gに交換。調べたら去年も4月14日に交換していた。それ以前は5月中旬だったのだけれど、温暖化が進んでいるのだろう

Here is the current status of the verruca removal.

03/30/26、Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen was performed on March 30th at a Dermatologist.

04/07/26、Eight days after the above cryotherapy, the skin tag (or verruca) fell off spontaneously.
The scar is a slightly darker color in the area of skin with a red dot in the middle.

04/15/26, Healing is progressing well. The scar is barely noticeable.

古い爪がfall してから約1週間経過。
新しい爪にはこれといった新たな損傷はなく経過は順調。

ただし Tole nailの成長速度は極めてゆっくり（1日に約0.05mm伸び、1ヶ月1.5mm程度伸びるとされている）なので、すっかり固くて良い爪に置きかわるのにはあと3〜4ヶ月を要しそう。

Went to a dermatologist and had a wart removed from my right lower eyelid.

When I explained to the doctor that a wart on my lower eyelid had suddenly grown larger, she said that it didn't grow suddenly but gradually protruded, and that after a certain point, it must have become a noticeable size and start bothering me.

Dermatologist Treatments were;
Cryotherapy: Freezing with liquid nitrogen.

There's no visible change today, but it will turn darker and scab over tomorrow, and then it falls off in 7 to 10 days, and that will be the end of it.
The cost is only 570 yen.
